When are the 2024 HSK test dates in Brisbane and how to prepare for the HSK exam in 2024?
Now you can take HSK tests at the University of Queensland (UQ) and Griffith University. UQ has published the 2023 HSK exam dates and we will update Griffith’s date once they are published.
2024 HSK dates at UQ
- March 16 (HSK, HSKK), Saturday, registration closes on 16 February.
- May 19 (HSK), Sunday, registration closes on 19 April.
- September 8 (HSK, HSKK), Sunday, registration closes on 8 August
- December 8 (HSK), Sunday, registration close on 8 November

2024 HSK Dates at Griffith University
Griffith University has not yet published the 2024 HSK Exam dates on its website. We will update once it is available.

YCT Test Dates:
Griffith University also offers the YCT (Young Chinese Test), but they haven’t updated their 2024 dates. We will update the dates once available.

How to prepare for the HSK exam?
- Have a plan: make a reasonable plan based on your current level and the hours you can spend on HSK study. For each HSK level, you may need different hours. For example, you need 30 hours of study to pass HSK1 and HSK2.
- Choose a proper course: To save your time and money, find a high-reputation tutor to help you. A cheap hourly rate may not be the best option. - NEW HSK: Based on HSK official site, there is no change for HSK 1 – HSK6 in 2024.
